Our Story
We met at the KES Oak Hall Bible School in Serbia in 2002, where Saško came from Macedonia to study, and Ira had been working as a translator since 1999. In 2007, we moved to Belgrade, where we founded ELION Media Ministry.
Our organization, Elion Media, is a non-profit Christian interdenominational organization. We are registered as: Citizens Association for Promoting Moral and Ethical Values Based on Traditional Christian Principles in Public and Private Life.
We joined GEM in November 2024 and live in Belgrade, Serbia, from where we serve God through various projects in partnership with many organizations and churches.
Our passion is spreading the Gospel through media and making disciples trough studying God’s Word.
Where We Serve
Although we live in Belgrade, where we primarily serve God, we occasionally travel outside Serbia to participate in various ministry projects.
Ira is a trained English consecutive and simultaneous interpreter and translator who has been translating printed and digital materials since 1994—books, biblical commentaries, brochures, Bible study materials, conferences, and seminars. Through ELION Media, she translates documentaries, short videos, and many other digital resources. Ira is also the Zone Coordinator for CBS Ministry, which includes 11 countries in Europe.
Saško has been involved in video production for more than 20 years, officially since the founding of ELION Media in 2007. For many years he has provided audio and video recording and editing services, and when needed, he serves as a photographer as well. Through cooperation with many Christian organizations, he films conferences, seminars, and other events. He edits various types of videos, including documentaries, short promotional videos, highlight videos etc. Saško serves in GEM as a video storytelling team coordinator and leads the media team at the local church in Belgrade.
One of the major digital evangelism projects we lead together is called “Isus Mesija” (Jesus the Messiah). We have a Facebook page and an Instagram account where, through advertising, we reach hundreds of people every day and share the Gospel with those who decide to respond to the ad and write to us.
Our vision is for ELION Media to have its own dedicated space where we can develop the ELION Media Center as a ministry that will include other people who will contribute daily to the advancement of God’s Kingdom through the production of multimedia content.
