GEM Kosovo

Located on the Balkan Peninsula where it is sandwiched between Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, and Macedonia, Kosovo is a country experiencing the consequences of significant war. Tension between ethnic Serbs and Albanians still exists. Extreme poverty plagues the young nation and Christians are experiencing increased persecution at the hands of the significant Muslim majority.
