Our Story
After three-decades in our long standing careers, Al in the fitness industry and Ginger in the fashion industry, we felt called into foreign ministry. We accepted an appointment for full-time service with Greater Europe Mission, and in January 2022 we moved to Germany to serve the people of Europe and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
As part of GEM’s Wellness Team, we work as Mission Pastors, with the aim of seeing global ministry workers flourish in their life with God, their interpersonal relationships, and their ministries, so that they are enabled to fulfill the calling that God has given them.
Our primary focus is the heart of the missionaries, their spiritual health, and their emotional resilience. We travel regularly to visit workers in other areas of Germany, as well as offering online support to workers in various locations in Europe.
Our local ministry includes supporting the international church through discipleship by coming alongside young believers and encouraging them in their faith, and engaging in gospel conversations with non-believing neighbors and friends.
Where We Work
Frankfurt is the fifth largest city in Germany and the largest financial center in continental Europe. With a growing immigrant population, it is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world and an important commercial and cultural center.
Because of its global connectedness and central location, Germany is a key location for influencing Europe with the gospel of Jesus. Despite Germany’s rich religious history, very few people actually have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, with recent estimates concluding that only 0.1% of people are believers.
