Our Story
In 2018, we moved to Kandern, Germany to serve in the Residence Life department at Black Forest Academy, which is a boarding school for missionary kids whose parents are serving in countries without quality education options. Our calling and reason for service involves the overlapping areas of 1) supporting and enabling worldwide missions efforts, 2) being invested to make a difference in the lives of the teenagers who live here, and 3) seeking to come alongside and uplift other staff who serve here.
Where We Work
Today, Larisa and Jason serve as the Area Leaders for all the missionaries serving at BFA from our missions organization, Greater Europe Mission. We work to help our missionaries thrive and stay healthy through the actions of coaching, mentoring, planning, praying, and much more. We are passionate about helping our team plan for not just their current ministry roles, but looking ahead to staying on the mission field long-term as well.
