Our Story
God's path to missions actually began with short-term trips for each of us. Hope's first mission trip to Poland was in 1999; Frank's first trip was in 2007. Hope served as a full-time missionary in Poland for 5 years before meeting Frank. In 2024, we began full-time missions in Katowice, Poland.
Then in October 2025, God placed us in Dubrovnik, Croatia, as the current missionaries here have retired. We're committed to multiplying disciples and growing Christ's Church in Croatia through partnering with Dubrovnik Baptist Church as well as through individual discipleship and counseling/healing ministry.
Where We Work
In Croatia, only 0.4% of the population follow Christ. Dubrovnik's main industry is tourism with literally millions of foreign tourists in 2025 visiting this small city of 42,000 permanent residents. Tourism also brings in 15,000 foreign workers each year. English is widely spoken by Croats, foreign workers, and tourists.
We're capitalizing on this opportunity to spark spiritual conversations and to extend invitations to visit our church as well as spiritual discussions. Frank's background in counselling and discipleship is being utilized both inside and outside of the church. Hope has joined the women of the church in service opportunities and hospitality. We're eagerly watching and listening to see what ministry openings God creates for us each day!
