Our Story

Through the miscarriage of our second child in 2012, God called us towards a new and deeper way of living for Him. Letting go of our own plans and set dreams for our life as a family, we began to hold tightly to Christ's call to truly "Follow Me" and then felt the call to "Go and make disciples."

In 2020 our family moved across the pond, from the US to the UK, to begin ministering and living on a council estate in Teesside. Living slowly & intentionally in a place, with Jesus as our model, we are building relationships and making disciples one cup of tea at a time.

We are passionate about creating healthy spiritual rhythms with and among our community & using God's creation as a gorgeous platform to share God's love and the gospel truth.

Where We Work

A town of about 100,000 people in North East, England, Stockton-on-Tees owes its existence to its crossing-point near the mouth of the River Tees.

The city has a long history, dating back to the 12th Century. It’s famous for being one end of the world’s first steam railway, which brought coal from inland to the port and carried passengers. Like many towns and cities in the western world, Stockton rose as a powerhouse of heavy engineering (iron, steel, shipbuilding, railways, chemicals) only to fall in the later half of the 20th Century as those industries and their jobs move to countries like Korea and China. Unemployment and empty factory sites leave a sense of lost glory, heightened by the ‘poor relation’ status of the North East compared to the prosperous South of England.

But there is much to be proud of – if you’ve ever struck a match, ridden on a railway, used Dulux paint or seen a film by Ridley Scott, you owe something to Stockton. Within Stockton-on-Tees lies multiple counsil estates, one of which is where we find our new home. We live near city-center Stockton on an estate called, Mill Lane.
