My Story

From a young age, I felt called to care for burdens within the church. In 2010, I lived in Kenya for 6 months, where I saw the specific needs of missionaries up close. Over the next decade, I earned a BA in Counseling from Moody Bible Institute, was mentored by a member care specialist in an internship, and gained a lot of practical knowledge through work experience.

In 2021, I moved to Frankfurt, Germany, where I began to learn German and integrate into a new season of life overseas. My passion is to see young people thrive as they pursue their calling on mission with Jesus.

Where I Work

I serve with the Mission Pastor team in GEM's Wellness Department.
Our team’s aim is to serve GEM workers internally by ministering to their spiritual health and emotional resilience needs. We provide a neutral space to process conflict, doubts, culture shock, and personal development.

My specific role involves ministering to short term workers within GEM. Many serve for 2-3 months to fulfill a college internship requirement, while others serve for a year after graduation to see if the work is something they’d like to pursue long term.

Much of what I do consists of video call meetings to check in and hear how things are going, though I also travel to visit workers in person on occasion. I also help with some of the training and debriefing in both group settings and one-on-one.

I’m honored that I get to do the work that I do. I believe it’s important, and I feel that I am uniquely equipped to meet that need. Your support directly impacts the lives of young people serving in Europe and the lives of those they reach in their ministry.
