My Story

God inspired my move to Romania with Isaiah 54:1, “Sing, oh barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of a desolate woman than of her who has a husband, says the Lord.”My plan was to come for a year. That was 16 years ago. Working with institutionalized babies and children has its challenges and even heartaches. But God's call on my life is to advocate for these little ones and He, in His mercy and grace, has never abandoned me.The majority of my work has focused on:Nurturing babies in physical, emotional, and nutritional developmentSocialization for disabled childrenEncouraging and training professionals who work with these childrenHosting many volunteersEarlier this year after a time of fasting and prayingI was inspired to initiate the “Little Treasures Project,” with the hope to mobilize Christian families to become a part of the solution for these dear treasures of God.
