My Story
Ever since I was 13, I have felt God leading me into international mission work. Though my path took many twists and turns throughout my 20s, He led me to Birmingham, England, in 2022. Soon after arriving, I met my husband, Mark, and in May 2026, we welcomed our daughter, Evangeline. We also have two cats, Maple and Willow.
We live in Erdington, a diverse community in Birmingham. Mark works as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner at a local hospital, using his position as an opportunity to share the love of Jesus. I serve in ministry through our local church and café, building relationships within the international community through English teaching and creative community outreach.
Over the years, these ministries have opened doors to reading the Bible with individuals and groups. I now have the joy of studying the Bible with women, primarily from Muslim backgrounds. By God’s faithfulness, we are seeing increasing openness and a hunger to explore the Gospel, as well as witnessing Him draw people to Himself through salvation in Jesus.
Mark and I also use hospitality to share the goodness of Jesus. Now, as parents, we have the privilege of reflecting the warmth of God’s love as our good Father to those around us who do not yet know Jesus. Our prayer is that, as we welcome people into our home and lives, they will experience His goodness and love.
Although Mark is employed outside of GEM, our family relies on two incomes to meet the cost of living in the UK. Your financial support of me and this ministry is therefore essential and deeply appreciated. It is also a humbling reminder of God’s provision and His faithfulness in providing for His work.
Where I Work
Our neighbourhood of Erdington is one of many social challenges through troubles with addiction, poverty, and mental health concerns for many in the community. There is also a great need to provide services and safe spaces to the various groups including those within the international community. This includes refugees and asylum seekers.
The ministries I am a part of serve to provide an inviting and warm space as well as services to help people learning English. Ultimately, the purpose of the ministry is to open the Bible with those who do not yet know Jesus as well as those Christians who are in need and want of discipleship.
