Connor Batey

I went on my first mission trip to Wales a few months after I had come to Christ after almost 5 years of being atheist. In total, I have been on 4 short-term mission trips and have served as a missionary intern for almost a year in Wales. Throughout this time, I have seen the huge lack of faith in Christ in the Welsh people and the need for Discipleship. This is what drew me to Greater Europe Mission. After all of this, the Lord has called me to long-term mission with GEM to serve with their Northwest Wales team. There I will learn the Welsh language in order to help serve the Welsh-speaking Welsh and help grow them in their relationship with God.
