Our ministry in Germany is a response to the profound spiritual shift in a nation that, while historically central to the Christian faith, is now considered post-Christian. With a landscape where a growing number of people have no religious affiliation and less than 3% identify as Evangelical Christians, we feel strongly the importance of sharing the hope of the Gospel. Our focus is particularly on adolescents, who are at a formative stage in their lives, actively seeking purpose and direction. We believe this is a critical time to introduce them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

To this end, our family is engaged in a variety of ministries. Jonathan connects with 10-14 year old boys through a drone ministry, offering a fun and engaging way to build relationships and share his faith. He also dedicates his technical skills to the IT department at Black Forest Academy, a boarding school staffed by support-rasing missionaries that plays a vital role in supporting missionary families across the globe by providing their children with a quality Christian education. Additionally, Jonathan extends his service to the wider community by running a bicycle repair ministry at a local refugee camp.

Heather’s ministry is centered on mentorship and education. She coaches a teen girls' basketball team, integrating prayer and devotional times into their athletic training to foster both physical and spiritual growth. Furthermore, she teaches English at a local Christian school, where she has the unique opportunity to work with children from predominantly non-believing families. She believes the sounds of children's voices singing Bible verses and praise songs is one of the most beautiful sounds in the world. Through these diverse avenues, we aim to plant seeds of faith in the hearts of the next generation in Germany.
