My Story
After serving in childrenā€™s and youth ministries for 6 years in the US, God called me to continue serving youth by investing in international missionary students through the boarding program at Black Forest Academy in the Fall of 2020. After three wonderful years of dorm ministry, God opened the door for me to remain connected to a ministry I love, now serving missionary students and their families through education. I am grateful that God has called me into this ministry, pairing passions and gifts of investing in the next generation through education, with my heart for serving missionary families and their students.
Where I Work
Nestled in a small town in the southwest corner of Germany, Black Forest Academy provides a quality Christian education for students living both locally and internationally. After celebrating its 70th year in 2026, BFA now has 7 dorms housing a total of 140 students. Additionally, there are about 120 day students, for a high school student body of just over 250 students. It is a joy to serve at BFA as a HS science teacher, inspiring students to love God more through studying what He has made.
