My Story
I’ve felt a calling for missions ever since I went on a short-term trip to Kyrgyzstan in high school. After completing a residency at Thomas Road Outpost, where the Lord nurtured my ministry experience and deepened my dependence on Him, He prompted me to explore longer-term missions. Initially, Europe wasn’t on my radar, but through numerous confirmations from the Lord, it became evident that this is where my next step lies. I’ve always had a passion for Central Asia, and it’s not a coincidence that the placement I’ll be serving at has a predominantly Pakistani youth group and a significant Muslim population in the surrounding area, that has the Lord written all over it.
Where I Work
I’ll be working with a house church plant just outside Birmingham, England. Their mission is to plant churches in the community. I’ll be serving alongside the church family, pursuing intentional women’s ministry, and leading youth and worship. My time overseas will be dedicated to living out my faith, making friends, getting involved in the community, and sharing the love of Christ with those I meet. As I mentioned earlier, there’s a large Pakistani Muslim population in the Stourbridge area, and I’ll have the opportunity to live alongside them and pray for their spiritual growth as I get to share the Love of Jesus with them through daily life.
