Our Story
John and Hannah have shared a passion for missions since before they were married. John first served in Bogotá, Colombia with Go International in 2010 before studying abroad in Italy in 2011, where God began to develop a deep love for the Italian people. Hannah served with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Australia and Papua New Guinea in 2011, experiences that strengthened her desire to see the Gospel reach every nation. Together, they have continued investing in the local church by serving as missions team leaders at Body of Christ Church in Ames, Iowa, and later as young adult pastors at River Rock Church in Colorado Springs, while raising their three children—Sienna, Jasper, and Sadie.
Where We Work
Today, God is calling their family to Italy with a vision to help strengthen and expand the Church in one of Europe's greatest mission fields. Combining John's background in architecture and business with their shared heart for church planting, they desire to help "build and design" churches that will have a lasting Kingdom impact—both physically and spiritually. Their passion is fueled by the tremendous need throughout Italy, where approximately 6,000 of the country's ~8,000 towns have no Protestant or evangelical church. John and Hannah believe every community deserves the opportunity to hear the hope of the Gospel, and they are committed to partnering with local believers to see healthy, Gospel-centered churches established for generations to come.
