GEM UK Ministry Development

My Story
I provide visionary and pastoral leadership for GEM UK, overseeing the direction and development of the ministry nationwide. My role is to ensure that disciple-making teams, regional hubs, and church planting efforts are not isolated initiatives, but part of a coherent, gospel-driven movement of multiplication.
A significant part of my work is investing deeply in people. I oversee, train, and coach our 80 UK workers, helping them remain spiritually healthy, emotionally resilient, and missionally effective. Rather than measuring success by activity alone, I am committed to shaping a shared gospel culture — our mDNA — that forms leaders who endure, multiply, and send others.
Alongside this, I build strategic partnerships with like-minded churches, networks, and organisations, convinced that renewal in the UK will not come through isolated efforts, but through humble collaboration around a shared vision to see Christ made known.
Supporting my role means investing not just in one ministry stream, but in the leadership, infrastructure, and relationships that allow a multiplying gospel movement to take root and flourish across the UK.
Your prayers and financial partnership enable me to give my full time and energy to strengthening churches, raising leaders, and advancing gospel renewal in some of the most spiritually needy contexts in the Western world.
Together, we can see disciples made, leaders raised, and churches multiplied — for lasting gospel impact across the UK and beyond.
Where I Work
At the heart of GEM UK, our calling is simple but urgent: to see disciples made, leaders raised, and churches multiplied across the UK.
The UK is one of the most spiritually needy regions in the Western world. Many communities that once had a strong Christian presence now have little or no meaningful gospel witness. Yet at the same time, we are seeing fresh openness, renewed hunger, and real opportunity — especially in cities, post-Christian neighbourhoods, and among younger generations.
God is clearly at work. The question is whether the church will be ready.
Today, GEM UK has around 80 workers engaging in mission and discipleship across the nation, serving local churches and regions through three interconnected expressions. Together, they form a growing movement aimed at long-term gospel renewal.
We have 3 key strategies in the UK that we are developing - Disciple making teams (DMT's), Regional Hub Movements and Church Planting
Disciple-Making Teams
Across the UK, GEM UK mobilises Disciple-Making Teams to engage people far from Jesus and form gospel-centred disciples in everyday life. Working alongside local churches, these teams establish sustainable, reproducible disciple-making cultures in cities and neighbourhoods where gospel presence is fragile or absent. As teams multiply, they are forming a pipeline of leaders and models that can be adapted and sent into similar post-Christian contexts across Europe.
Regional Hub Movements
Through Regional Hub Movements, GEM UK catalyses collaboration among churches and leaders to foster a culture of gospel multiplication across entire regions. By gathering, training, and coaching leaders around a shared vision, hubs help disciples multiply, leaders emerge, and churches be planted at scale. These regional ecosystems are designed not just for the UK, but as transferable frameworks that can fuel renewal and cooperation across Europe.
Church Planting Movement
GEM UK’s Church Planting Academy is forming the next generation of church planters to establish healthy, multiplying churches in today’s UK context. Through deep spiritual formation, practical training, and long-term coaching, leaders are equipped to plant churches that endure and reproduce. As this movement grows, it is laying foundations for church planting partnerships and leader development that can strengthen gospel work across Europe.
