Our Story
Mark grew up in France in a French and English home. Although he grew up going to church, he did not experience any real form of discipleship beyond summer camps in England. It wasn’t until he went to University in England that he started having people truly coming alongside him, which continued through his 20s. Now he believes that God is calling him and his family back to France to focus on discipleship.
Heidi grew up in Michigan and had a heart for missions from a young age. Both Mark and Heidi felt a draw and then a call to missions in their late teenage years. After college they both separately joined YWAM where they first met while attending a Bible School in France in 2005. After getting married in 2012 and starting a family, they felt God’s call to mission as a family and served with Mercy Ships for 4 years. That is when God confirmed the call to mission as a family and started showing us the elements for the vision we now have and gradually putting France back in focus.
Where We Work
Our vision is for family-based community and discipleship, connecting with the local church. We are planning to serve in a Christian Camp, called Camp des Cimes, where young people and families experience community while discovering biblical truths and the person of Christ. While connecting with the local church, we will also work on establishing our family vision to have our home be a safe place for community, with an open door for discipleship of believers and nonbelievers.
