Our Story

Lore has been the mission pastor in her church for several years. Serving missionaries around the world and leading short-term mission teams has taught her how to be more intentional in sharing the gospel in a post-Christian world. Michael has recently retired from his construction company and is excited about what he and Lore can now do together in God's Kingdom.

They've been getting to know Greater Europe Mission over the last three years and have fallen in love with the organization and the people. Learning of the need in Europe and watching how GEM has embraced the people with the gospel of Jesus inspired them to become a part of what God is doing in Europe via GEM. Michael and Lore are convinced they still have a lot to offer and together have been led by God to join GEM and start this next adventure with GEM for the glory of God.

Where We Serve

We will be serving on GEM Teams in Kandern, Germany. GEM Teams leads teams of people from the U.S. and Canada on short-term missions throughout Europe. Leading short-term missions has been a highlight of Lore's work as a mission pastor in her U.S church. She knows the impact these teams can make on a missionary's ministry, but also the impact these trips can make on the ones who go. When they return home they are more informed, more inspired, more prepared and more bold in sharing the gospel at home. They are also more aware of how to pray for and support missionaries around the world.

Many of these teams going to Europe will be involved in construction projects, and Michael is perfect for leading these teams. Together we are convinced short-term missions is an avenue God will use to bring revival to America. When someone goes on a GEM short-term mission they come back changed! God can wreck them for His purposes. When someone experiences God's mission even for a short period of time they go home transformed. These mission experiences tend to unify them and change their church, their city, their country, our world. Revival comes.
