My Story
I am originally from Alpharetta, Georgia, and I graduate from Samford University in April 2024 with a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. After two short term trips to England with my home church in both 2022 and 2023, God has cultivated in me a deep love for and draw toward the people and church there. I’ve had a heart for missions for years, but I believe that the Lord is doing something incredibly special in the hearts of young people in England. During my time there last summer, I felt that God was calling me to the mission field, and through months of prayer, have felt the call to minister with & to the people of England for a year starting in September. I am so excited and humbled to see how the Lord will use me and allow me to serve in Teesside.
Where I Work
The mission of Tees Valley Youth for Christ is to share the gospel relevantly with every young person and to see young people’s lives changed by Jesus. I will be working alongside other members of the Gap Year Team to serve the local church and to support youth ministry across the area of Teesside. I’ll be primarily working with young people, and my goal while serving there is to build effective relationships, not only to share the life-changing gospel of Jesus, but ultimately to walk alongside students in their faith.
