Our Story
Jodie and Tina have been in ministry since they met while serving on the summer staff of a christian camp when they were in college. Jodie was ordained as a minister in 2002 and served several churches before joining GEM in 2013. Prior to joining GEM, Tina's background was in Sports Medicine. Jodie and Tina both love sports and the outdoors and are committed Crossfitters. They have two children, a daughter Hollis, and a son Aedyn.
Where We Work
The Gastons live and work in Birmingham, England. Jodie serves as Director of Onboarding and Field Integration. His role is to help new GEM workers by providing a foundation for ministry that leads to fruitfulness and longevity. He provides guidance and support for fields and new workers throughout the first term on the field and helps with the transition into long-term ministry through mentoring and strategic planning.
Tina provides administrative and operational support to a local community center. She also engages in outreach through Community Bible Study and free fitness classes.
