Our Story
Jodie and Tina have been in ministry since they met while serving on the summer staff of a christian camp when they were in college. Jodie was ordained as a minister in 2002 and served a number of churches before joining GEM in 2013. Prior to joining GEM, Tina's background was in Sports Medicine. Jodie and Tina both love sports and the outdoors and are committed Crossfitters. They have two children, a daughter Hollis, and a son Aedyn.
Where We Work
Jodie serves as field leader for the UK. His role is to lead, develop, and care for the UK team.
In August 2020, the Gaston's will be moving from Wales to Birmingham in England. We will be working with a church planting network and local church partners as part of GEM's focus city project. Our goal is to raise up a multicultural team of workers to reach the city of nearly 4 million people, which has been classified as one of the most diverse cities in Europe.
