I will be assisting a church stationed in Tees Valley, primarily working with youth. As stated before, England has become a "post-Christian" society, meaning that worldly views that conflict with the Gospel have become much more acceptable, and are being adopted as the new "norm". While many people there are interested in religion, they are not willing to commit to it. "Living unto the world" is a growing worldwide epidemic, but has become extremely prominent in the United Kingdom, especially among younger generations. As part of my responsibilities, I will be working within local school systems building rapport with students. My goal will be to share the love of Jesus with them, teach them the importance of immersing themselves in God's Word, and encourage them to be a part of a local church youth group.
