Dorm Parents at Black Forest Academy serve the global missions community by providing care and leadership for dorms of high school students. Dorm parents will be a mature, Christ-focused, married couple who will lead the staff teams (and students) in each dorm. These teams are made up of Resident Assistants, post-college-age staff, and the dorm parents themselves. Together they provide the daily care that one would find in a Christ-centered home. This unique ministry provides the opportunity to be daily role models and parental figures providing appropriate moral, social, and spiritual support. This program needs nurturing individuals with excellent interpersonal skills, strong abilities in leadership and task completion, and high energy levels to keep up with the High School age students.
