Richard Mauney, originally from North Carolina, has served in Romania since 1996 – with Greater Europe Mission since 2005. Together with two other Americans and three Romanians, he began the Jubilate ministry which serves the evangelical churches throughout Romania – helping to cultivate a vibrant worship life and assisting in the development of music and worship leaders as well as providing resources. Richard finds particular fulfillment in working with worship leaders in areas such as: Biblical understanding of worship, planning and leading worship, choosing music for the church, and discipleship relationships in church music ministry. As a single missionary, Richard has had the joy to teach and to lead worship throughout Romania as well as in Austria, Italy, Hungary, Moldova, Croatia, Serbia, Czech Republic, Poland, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Turkey, Thailand and China.
