Serving Refugees on Lesvos, Greece
Account# 989
My Story
I grew up the middle child of seven on the Oregon Coast. From the age of eight my family did many short term missions trips and by the time I was 17 I knew the Lord was calling me to pursue fulltime ministry. I attended Moody Bible Institute, receiving a BA in Intercultural Studies, and now I am preparing to move to Lesvos and follow the Lord's calling!
Where I Work
I will be working with refugees on the island of Lesvos; the closest Greek island to Turkey and thus one of the main landing sites for displaced peoples seeking European asylum. My work will focus primarily on Bible teaching and discipleship through GEM's community center set up near the Moria camp; sharing the hope of Jesus with those living there.
