3 years ago, I felt that I had lost all passion in my life and figured that God would never want to use me because I had no purpose.

Although I grew up going to church, I had only genuinely given my life to Christ just about two weeks prior to this struggle in my mental health. Going to a Christian university (Liberty University), I had great resources around me and godly friends who pushed me to trust the Lord and learn what He has to say about my life.

The timing of this confused me at first, but I realized that this was the Lord's perfect plan to transform my heart and mind through some seep pains I had never given much mind to. I decided to change my major to Christian Leadership & Church Ministries because I knew I needed to learn as much as I possibly could about God, His Word, and how He calls us to live if I was going to get through this.
So, as a two-week old child in the faith, I jumped headfirst into these ministry classes. Little did I know, the next semester I would hear about Greater Europe Mission, and I would slowly begin to grow passion for something again.
All I knew was that I wanted to live a life that would show others the hope we can have in Jesus as our light in the midst of darkness. God helped me to feel deep sadness and numbness so that He could burden my heart for others going through it.

Fast forward a year, I applied for the Ten2 Project through GEM. I didn't know how God would use me, but he held my interest in this for some reason and I just knew to be obedient. I originally wanted to go to Frankfurt, Germany, but the Lord closed that door. The Lord placed me in England... and my life changed! From just two months serving in Teesside, England, God placed such a deep desire in my heart to see the people of Teesside turn to Christ and PURSUE Him.

Praise God for His perfect love and timing!

John 12:46
"I [Jesus] have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness."

Matthew 5:14-16 (emphasis added)
"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works AND GIVE GLORY TO YOUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN."

After serving in Teesside, England with the Ten2 Project during the Summer of 2023, the Lord has called me back for a gap year in 2024-2025!
