Katie Birkey

After a short term trip to Eastern Europe in 2009, God laid the peoples of Europe heavily on my heart. I hurriedly finished my B.A. in English in 2010, and I was commissioned to serve with GEM eDOT as an Editor in early 2011.Since joining the eDOT team, I have been able to assist my teammates in Southern Germany and Central Colorado as we seek to use innovative technology as a tool for both evangelism and discipleship. My role has since expanded to Digital Media Coordinator, which allows me to creatively use technology to reach into people's lives with the Gospel in new and exciting ways.
