A five week mission trip for the experienced, skilled, & passionate follower of Christ.

We believe Europe is the most overlooked mission field in the world. With only 2.9% of the population claiming to be a follower of Christ, most Europeans will go their entire lives never stepping foot into a church.

Join us on the mission field of Europe.

Ten2 Legacy was created specifically for the mature and experienced follower of Jesus. It's for those that are passionate about missions and want to take a step beyond the "week-long mission trip" and dig deep into the work happening on the ground.

On a continent now considered post-Christian, we need more workers willing to go and be a light through transformative disciple-making relationships.

Why you?

We need your skills. Your expertise in business, art, technology, language, and more.

We need your experience. Your maturity gained through life experiences and your own personal ministry.

We need your passion. Your affection for the lost and passion to support the work already underway in Europe.

Train, Serve, & Experince missions in Europe.

Training

You'll focus on cultural competencies, discipleship multiplication, and ministry best-practices in a post-Christian context.

Serve

Join your GEM Team on the ground.

Come ready to serve along side their ongoing local ministry. This could look like serving coffee, starting spiritual conversations, teaching English classes, caring for refugees, and much more.

Experience

Finish your trip by experiencing the sights and sounds of Europe.

Spend your final days visiting some of the most beautiful cities and landscapes of Europe. Enjoy local food and people of Europe.

FRANCE

Service & Construction

The camp, nestled in the French Alps, is a popular place for retreats, camps, and other events. In 2019, plans were drawn up to remodel all of the older buildings. After a covid delay, remodeling has begun on the most "rustic" facility. The plan is to add a toilet and shower in each of the four bedrooms, and open the attic to create a mezzanine that will increase capacity.

This group of 4-6 people will travel to this camp in the French Alps. This site is a bit remote and is situated at approximately 3,000 ft (950 m) elevation. This group will primarily provide construction, construction support, and grounds maintenance to work on a multi-year upgrade project. Service may include serving in the kitchen or with housekeeping for teams that are on site assisting with construction and grounds maintenance activities. If working with your hands is something you want to do, this may be your place to serve at this historic camp.

VIANA

Hospitality & Evangelism

Viana is a small village in northern Spain on the Camino De Santiago, a 500-mile/800km trail spanning across Spain. Once a Catholic pilgrimage, now many people walk it to process life events--and some admit they are looking for peace. Because of this, GEM cross-cultural workers have numerous opportunities to share their faith with those walking.

4-6 participants will be volunteering in the cafe and the food truck out on the Camino, and (depending on the time of year) you may be engaged in community initiatives as well--such as conversational English classes, art classes, community lunches, or church services. Your time will center on hospitality, sharing the Good News, and being a light in this beautiful community.

LESVOS

Refugee and Churches

Volunteers would share their time between serving inside the refugee camp with EuroRelief (3-4 days a week) to serving with GEM missionaries in the local churches (1-2 days a week).

Inside camp those with teaching experience can serve as teacher’s aides in the existing school, or one can be involved with the Men or Women Engagement Centers (hanging out with the refugees in areas set up by gender), supervising in the camp gym, or can be involved with distribution of food, clothing, hygiene supplies and much more.

Outside camp, those that want to can preach or lead Bible studies with the local Greek Evangelical church, or with the refugee churches (Farsi for the Afghans, Amharic for the Eritreans). Don’t worry, you’ll be translated from English. There is also a need for weekly life skill seminars: child raising, marriage enrichment, setting up a small business, family budgeting, etc.  -only limit is the skills you bring to the island.

After you serve on Lesvos, the team will then travel to the wrap-up site where all teams will meet to discuss their experiences, hear about the vision for reaching Europe from some of GEM’s leaders, and tour some sites of historical significance.
