These people have left lives, families, and friends in hope for a better life but have so far experienced disappointment after disappointment. It’s difficult to sit around for months. They need people to come and care simply through their presence and friendship. You don’t have to pray for opportunities to share the gospel here—the opportunities are endless." –*James
At the present, there are over sixty new believers who came to faith in Jesus! They are being discipled by James and other missionaries. God has opened a door and people are seeking truth and asking spiritual questions. Dozens of new believers are waiting to be baptized. The door is open, and the people are ready to meet Jesus.
Right now, there are over 7,000 refugees on the island of Lesvos living in dire conditions hoping for a place to call home again. The humanitarian needs are great but the Gospel needs are greater.
There is still more work to be done and God is using people like James to impact lives for Christ.
