Our Story
We both grew up in Texas but met in Europe where Lisa served with Young Life and Steve worked at a computer job. The Lord led us to marry and live in Germany, California, England, Colorado, Australia, and then back to England. During those years we raised two children and now have a wonderful four-year-old granddaughter. Our return to England in 2016 with Steve’s job was followed in 2017 by the Lord changing our direction, telling Steve it was time to retire early from his computer career. Since retirement at the end of 2018, God has impressed on us the call to work in the “harvest” (Luke 10:2).
Where We Work
We will be serving as Assistant Pastors in Harrogate Vineyard Church located in Harrogate, England, with a focus on mentoring and discipleship. We will also be involved in various aspects of reaching out to the community, possibly liaising with local charities. One way that God has used us in the past that we would love to develop in the UK is facilitating grief support groups and walking with those who have lost loved ones.
