Lille is the fourth largest metropolitan area in France, with a total population of about 1.2 million, including thousands of immigrants and over 100,000 university students. One third of Lille’s population is under the age of 30! Since 2015, Lille has also seen an increased number of migrants and refugees in our community, many of whom have not previously had access to the gospel. Lille's size, student population, and blend of cultures from around the world make it an influential and strategic location for church planting and discipleship. God is truly moving in France right now; there is an increased interest and openness to spiritual matters. New believers need to learn how to share their faith and how to become the next generation of church leaders in their own communities.
