Our Story
We both had the privilege of growing up in Christian homes, each making early commitments to one day serve God overseas. We met at Nyack College (NY) and married in 1986. In 1994, we and our 3 children arrived in France, a country where less than 2% of the population know Jesus personally! Today, those three young children have "fled the nest", each serving God in different ways. Our daughter Jesse and her family serve at a school for missionary kids in Taiwan. Our son Josh and his family live in KY where he works as an Athletic Trainer and Caleb and his family live in Toccoa, GA where he works at a school for troubled teens.
Where We Work
We live and "do life ministry" in Clermont, a small town an hour north of Paris. Tom serves in a support role both for the leadership team and for GEM France as a whole. His head is often "under the hood" of what's happening on the field so that people are best equipped to accomplish that work that God has called them to. As 2024 approaches he will be more and more involved with Go+ France, an organized effort by our French ministry partners, in preparation for the Olympic games in Paris and the fruit that will follow. Added to this is his project manager role for GEM International with a goal of seeing more and more of our European and international brothers and sisters join hands with us to plant churches and multiply disciples. Bev is excitedly pouring herself into her role as "chef du quartier" (neighborhood cook) and is loving the connections that are growing stronger as she allows God to use her. The inter-church outreach chorale that she leads is slowly getting back on its feet after our COVID hiatus. Your support of our ministry is indirectly supporting the entire GEM France team!"
