Serving in Romania
God called me into missions in the early 1990's, after working in social work and the retail sector. I had always hurt for those who lived under Communism, so when GEM asked me to join the team moving into Romania, I knew that was a good fit for me. I have learned much from my brothers and sisters who suffered for their faith. In turn, I can serve them by offering the opportunity to learn English from a native speaker. Romania is in much transition and it may not be your first choice for a European vacation, but I have been blessed to serve there.
Where I Work
I am currently working in Sibiu, Romania doing:
--Member Care ministry to GEM missionaries in Southeastern Europe
--Working with girls who grew up in orphanages, helping them to succeed on their own
--Teaching English as a means of evangelism
