Our Story
Lisa initially served in Romania and moved to Poland after marrying Doug. After 28 years of fruitful ministry facilitating church planting, disciple-multiplication, and leadership in Poland and across Europe, Doug and Lisa now reside in Frankfurt, Germany. They are a part of the core team for the Focus Cities Initiative across GEM. The Mitts have worked throughout their missionary career in facilitating and fostering church planting with a desire to see a movement of God, first in Poland, then across Europe and now in Frankfurt. Doug and Lisa's heart is to see Europeans touched deeply by the love of Christ so that they hunger to be Jesus' apprentices and follow Him in disciple-making that leads to church planting movements throughout Europe. Where We Work
Doug also serves on GEM's Senior Leadership Team for the CityReach initiative and Spiritual Life. He and Lisa enjoy their new apartment in the Frankfurt-Rhein-Main area where they will be raising up ministry leaders for disciple-making movements that multiply church plants throughout the entire city for Christ. Additionally, both Doug and Lisa serve to facilitate the deepening of spiritual life among our GEM missionaries.
