After 20+ years working for Nike I felt called to leave the USA business world and move to Germany and work with EuroTeam, a short-term project division of Greater Europe Mission. In 2005 I moved to Bad Krozingen, Germany and started my career in missions helping lead teams that taught English or computer classes as a means of European churches reaching out in their local communities. In 2009 I was asked if I would be interested in visiting Köln(Cologne) and considering joining the church planting team there. In 2010 I moved from Kandern to Köln and started working with Cologne in Motion church in Köln-Nippes. I led worship at Cologne in Motion church and worked with several other ministry aspects of the church including Kids in Motion and an Old Folk's Home ministry. Late in 2012 I started helping with a Coffee and Tea Outreach in Köln-Holweide near where I live. The pastor asked several times if I would consider joining him in the ministry here in Holweide. After much prayer, meeting with local GEM leadership and the elders at Cologne in Motion church I decided to leave CIM and join in the local ministry in Holweide. I lead worship and help with other ministries including outreach, older generation bible studies and visitation, teaching English and teaching piano/keyboard.
